India has a woman President. India had an ironlady late Mrs Indira Gandhi as its Prime Minister. Ms Mayawati is the Chief Minister of the most populous state. Another dynamic woman is the ambasador to U.S.A. Chanda Kochhar is the CEO of the ICICI Bank.

Women in India have always moved shoulder to shoulder with men. Our rural ladies form one of the largest workforces of the world.

But something is missing! What about the Indian Women Fighter Pilots! Sadly, there has been no provision by the Govt. till date for having the lady fighter pilots in the Indian Air Force (or the Indian Navy), one of the frontline air forces of the world. Have you heard of the living legend Svetlana Kapanina of Russia who is a stunning blonde andhas been named the Best Pilot of the Century! Do you know that even more than 66 years before, the Russian Air Force had nearly 1000 women fighter/bomber pilots and many of them were the hot-rods?

Even Pakistan Air Force had inducted women fighter pilots few years back. But why cannot the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy have the women fighter pilots or at least give this idea a fair trial! It is an irony that India is called a ‘liberal democracy’ whereas Pakistan is a ‘conservative muslim country’.

Do we need the likes of Madam Sushma Swaraj to implement this simple thing! Rani Laxmibai is a great historic woman-warrior icon of India. Dr Padmavathy Bandopadhyay was the first lady Air Marshal of India.

So who will be the first lady in India to fill the honours of being the ‘ First Woman Fighter Pilot of India“? There is not even an iota of doubt that one day this has to happen; the only question that remains is ‘when’? tHE CONDITION OF INDIAN WOMAN ARE REALY BAD IN RURAL AREA, THE HIGH EARNING WOMAN GROUP SHOULD BE TAXED EXTRA 3% TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THESE WOMEN, I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY WOMAN OR WOMAN ORGANISATION TALKING ABOUT EXTREMELY BAD CONDITION OF WOMAN IN THE COUNTRY, MERE BECOMING IST FIGHTER PILOT DOES NOT HELP THE CAUSE AT ALL.

It always was my dream to be a fighter pilot. But THIS joy flight satisfied me! This was an excellent experience.

All barrel rolls and G forces were preplanned prior to departure by the very professional pilot Steve. What a great experience. No head jerks, very smooth. Yes, there was aircon. And what a backdrop – Stradbroke island off Brisbane!

OMG it was a dream come true for me! Heartily recommend this to anyone. Lovely scenery. The L39 Albatross is an agile and elegant jet plane! I was given a flight in an L39 Albatross jet fighter trainer for my 50th which I had today.

What an experience! the whole experience was excellent and I would definately recommend this to anyone, it was amazing. The team at Fighter Pilot were great, and the pilot Cameron was excellent.

We did all sorts of aerobatic manouvres that were fantastic. Dont go anywhere other than Fighter Pilot if you want the best, Andrew What a blast – another adventure off my bucket list. My father was a WW11 Spitfire fighter pilot and was awarded a DFC & Legion of Honour for his role in D Day.

He has now passed and I have always wanted to experience a flight in a WW11 fighter. My first wish was a Spitfire and if not available a P51 Mustang. What an awesome experience in the back seat of Steadfast.. super helpful and friendly team and the flying experience was entirely out of this world.

How many can say they have flown in a formation with and tail chased a Mustang while flying in a World Record holding Yakovlev.. simply beyond words!!!!!

Real Bucket list stuff! “Dream come true! Went out in the Mustang with super-pilot Cam and had the time of my life! Heaps of fantastic aeros and awesome views of Brisbane and Moreton Bay. It was an awesome experience being inverted in a barrel roll and a loop. This is truly a bucket list experience that I have just put a massive tick beside!”
