The pack was launched earlier tonight in Europe, having gone live first in North America. While The Rise of the Necromancer was available to purchase before tonight, fans had to wait until the game’s latest patch was released, before they could try out the new characters. The Diablo 3 release of the Necromancer pack will also prove popular to fans waiting for the , which has been set for next month.

The current times are as follows: • North America: Thursday, July 20 - 5:00 p.m. PDT • Europe: Thursday, July 20 - 5:00 p.m. CEST (4:00p.m BST) • Asia: Thursday, July 20 - 5:00 p.m.

KST • It should also be noted that Season 11 will begin on a Thursday to ensure there is adequate time to respond to potential issues with Seasons before the weekend begins. Blizzard have also confirmed that over 30 new Legendary items have been added for the Necromancer class, along with four class-exclusive Sets featuring unique themes.

Set Dungeons have also been added for each of the new Sets, providing you new opportunities to test your mettle. The Rise of the Necromancer pack comes with these items: • The twisted and misshapen Half-formed Golem in-game pet • Cosmetic Wings of the Crypt Guardian • Two additional character slots • Two stash tabs (PC only) • Necromancer portrait, banner, sigil, and accent, and Blood Master pennant Patch 2.60 included an array of other content that isn’t linked to the Necromancer, and is open to all players.

This includes Challenge Rifts, providing players the chance to explore new builds created by fellow gamers in a weekly static dungeon.

Diablo 3 fans can access these through the main screen, similar to Adventure Mode and Campaign Mode and they may also notice the new zones that have been added too.

The fog-enshrouded Moors and the darkened Temple of the Firstborn can be explored in Adventure Mode through a new waypoint on the Act 2 map. Players may also notice that four new Waypoints have appeared in Adventure Mode, each one boasting bounties to complete.

These “Realms of Fate” are the unintended consequences of the battle between the nephalem and Diablo in the High Heavens, according to Blizzard. While the launch of the Necromancer pack is proving a big milestone for fans, the next one isn’t too far away either.

The Diablo 3 Necromancer release date was set for June 27, launching in between the end of Season 10 and the beginning of Season 11. It means have quite the wait until they can take on the latest Season’s adventure, and also a lot of time to try out their favourite new build. The Rise of the Necromancer pack will be available for Windows and Mac PCs, as well as for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, for £12.99 GBP.

Console gamers who have yet to experience Diablo 3 will be able to pick up the digital-only Eternal Collection, which includes the Rise of the Necromancer pack, Diablo 3, and the Reaper of Souls expansion. The Diablo 3: Eternal Collection bundle should be available to PlayStation Plus members on PS4 and Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One for a limited time at a special introductory price of £29.99 GBP (reg.

£54.99 SRP). Otherwise, it should be available on digital stores across platforms, as Blizzard have already confirmed that there will be no physical release.

I have D3 and D3:RoS for PS3 and would love to try this out. If it's just PC/PS4/Xone then they have lost a sale with me. I will NOT buy D3/RoS for PC just to play an add-on when unable to play single player OFFLINE with PC version. Buck your ideas up Blizzard and support the people that put you where you are today!! In case anyone is wondering too. I have Diablo, Hellfire, D2 and D2:LoD for PC. Reason I bought PS3 version is because I don't always have the option of being online sometimes and will NOT buy a game that makes me connect to the net for a single player game.

In case anyone is wondering too. I have Diablo, Hellfire, D2 and D2:LoD for PC. Reason I bought PS3 version is because I don't always have the option of being online sometimes and will NOT buy a game that makes me connect to the net for a single player game.

Good on you, still no updates for last gen consoles. 1 person putting their foot down won't start the revolution you seek. @RevenantUK , zitachi, FapFaps I am with you all, DAMN Blizzard you have also lost a sale from me. I have waited for D3 for my PS2/Xbox & you still have not release the game.

Buck your ideas up Blizzard and support the people like me who waited for $10 battlechest or less than the price & without my $10 you will not be where you are today!! In case anyone is wondering too. I have Diablo on my PS1, D2:LoD Battlechest which I waited for $10 in like 10years for PC. Reason I bought PS2 console is because I don't always have the option of being online sometimes or should I say it cannot be online and will NOT buy a game that makes me connect to the net for a single player game.

I hope Blizzard hear me & come out D3 for PS2/Xbox so they can take my $10 & hopefully Ps2 can get seasons too but I do not know how the online will work but JUST DO IT because I am an angry Ps2 customer This is stupid not all of us have money for a xbox one or ps4 so we are stuck with the older consoles and i think it's stupid they won't add it to the older consoles what's the point putting out the game for the older consoles but won't give the extra stuff this is completely stupid and blizzard i hope you read this and change your mind because i know i ain't the only one that feels this way.

Nope, you just lack insight in to running a game studio. And reading the 3 posts in the entire universe that want Necro on PS3/X360 won't change their minds. I completely disagree. Almost all developers have stopped creating content for last generation. Its not because they are saying screw you, it's because it takes a lot of resources to support and provide updates, and Xbox 360 is not current, period.

You wouldn't buy a 15 year old pc and expect to buy the latest and greatest game and expect it to work. Be thankful for what you have. Knowing they couldn't support it, they could have said screw last gen all together, but at least you can experience it. I say bravo for what they did do. If you couldnt put 2 dollars a week away to get an Xbox one by now, that's not blizzards fault.

The Xbox one has been out for 3 and a half years now, and we are already even moving past that now with pro and scorpio. Sorry your down on your luck financially, but you shouldn't blame others for your shortcomings. 04/27/2017 07:55 AMPosted by This is stupid not all of us have money for a xbox one or ps4 so we are stuck with the older consoles and i think it's stupid they won't add it to the older consoles what's the point putting out the game for the older consoles but won't give the extra stuff this is completely stupid and blizzard i hope you read this and change your mind because i know i ain't the only one that feels this way.

I didnt get an Xbox One until about 2 years ago (recently got my 2nd XBO this year) Current gen is getting cheaper for the base system. Amazon has a used XBO going for $160 - $200 now a days and you can always use an external USB 3.0 HD for game storage

The necromancer is a dark priest that can summon undead minions and draw power from blood and death. Although necromancers were a playable class in Diablo II, they play a bit differently in Diablo III. For instance, they now have more active combat options that reduce the need to depend on minions in battle. Most of the necromancer's abilities rely on the class's primary resource, "essence," which she draws from enemies.

Attacking with her primary attack (assigned to the A button by default on Xbox One) replenishes essence. The maximum storable quantity of this life-based resource is 200. The necromancer has an even more unique secondary resource, and that's corpses. Enemies she kills turn into dead bodies that can be used for further means. With the right skills, you can explode corpses like bombs, turn them into projectiles, drain them for essence, and revive them as minions.

Whichever way you want to play the necromancer, you'll be safest doing so at a distance. This class relies on ranged attacks and minions, so close combat can be extremely dangerous for our dark priest. Some of these builds use two skills from the same category, thus foregoing another skill category. To equip multiple skills from the same category on the console version of Diablo III: • Select Options. • Head to Gameplay Options.

• Enable Elective Mode. • Return to the game and access the Skills menu. • Select the button to which you'd like to assign a skill from a duplicate category. • Scroll left or right until you reach the duplicate category and choose the desired skill.

Beginner build For this build, we've chosen skills that become available at early levels and remain worthwhile as you work your way up to 70. This build uses Bone Spikes and Devour to keep the essence coming in. Summon Skeletal Mages and use Command Skeletons to provide yourself an army, augmenting your attacks with the Frailty curse. When things get too hectic, use Blood Rush to teleport away from the fray (at a small cost to your health).

• Primary: Bone Spikes – Rune: Sudden Impact • Secondary: Skeletal Mage – Rune: Singularity • Corpses: Devour – Rune: Devouring Aura • Reanimation: Command Skeletons – Rune: Frenzy • Curses: Frailty – Rune: Scent of Blood • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Passive I: Extended Servitude • Passive II: Overwhelming Essence • Passive III: Spreading Malediction • Passive IV: Fueled by Death Bone Storm build This build was created by , a professional Diablo III player.

You'll play with a melee style here, thanks to the Grim Scythe ability. It's recommended that you use the Inarius armor set for maximum effectiveness. • Primary: Grim Scythe – Rune: Cursed Scythe • Corpses: Corpse Lance – Rune: Brittle Touch • Reanimation: Land of the Dead – Rune: Frozen Lands • Curses: Decrepify – Rune: Dizzying Curse • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Passive I: Stand Alone • Passive II: Spreading Malediction • Passive III: Blood is Power • Passive IV: Overwhelming Essence Corpse Explosion build Another build intended for use with the Inarius armor set.

This build revolves around the Corse Explosion ability, allowing you to take down living foes by blowing up the fallen ones. It's a good solo build, but the limited mobility limits its effectiveness for Bounties. • Primary: Grim Scythe – Rune: Cursed Scythe • Secondary: Death Nova – Rune: Blight • Corpses: Corpse Explosion – Rune: Close Quarters • Reanimation: Land of the Dead – Rune: Frozen Lands • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Passive I: Stand Alone • Passive II: Spreading Malediction • Passive III: Rigor Mortis • Passive IV: Blood is Power Corpse Lance build This build focuses on getting the most from the Corpse Lance ability.

You'll use fallen enemies to generate projectiles, hurling them at anyone who stands in your way. The armor set that best complements this build is the Trag'Oul set. • Corpses: Corpse Lance – Rune: Blood Lance • Corpses: Devour – Rune: Cannibalize • Reanimation: Command Golem – Rune: Flesh Golem • Reanimation: Land of the Dead – Rune: Frozen Lands • Curses: Decrepify – Rune: Dizzying Curse • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Stand Alone • Passive II: Draw Life • Passive III: Blood is Power • Passive IV: Overwhelming Essence Skeletal Mages build For the player who likes to summon minions, this build focuses on acquiring a hoard of Skeletal Mages and Skeletons and keeping them around to fight in your place.

You'll want to equip the Rathma armor set and use the Jesseth Skullcythe and Skullshield for your weapons. • Primary: Bone Spikes – Rune: Sudden Impact • Secondary: Skeletal Mage – Rune: Singularity • Corpses: Devour – Rune: Cannibalize • Reanimation: Command Skeletons – Rune: Dark Mending • Curses: Decrepify – Rune: Wither • Blood & Bone: Blood Rush – Rune: Potency • Passive I: Extended Servitude • Passive II: Overwhelming Essence • Passive III: Spreading Malediction • Passive IV: Swift Harvesting The eternal battle Diablo III is the largest and most popular loot-hunting action-RPG on Xbox One and PC.

On console, up to four players can team up locally or online to battle the forces of Diablo. While you'll find many Diablo-style games on Xbox One such as and Marvel Heroes Omega, the original game still has unmatched atmosphere, scale, and production values. The Rise of the Necromancer DLC is available for $14.99. You can also pick up Diablo III: Eternal Collection, which bundles Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition with the Rise of the Necromancer DLC for $59.99.
