One of the best railway routes in Yorkshire in England. This route takes you through some of the prettiest little market towns as well as wonderful scenery of the Yorkshire Moores. Starting in Pickering and ending in Whitby, the journey is simply wonderful! And not to mention - on a proper steam train too! This is a fantastic heritage railway. Well worth a visit. Trains run from Pickering to Whitby. The website has timetable and fare information on it.
