best dating surfers paradise breakfast places to eat - Where To Eat
In the words of the honourable Ron Swanson: why would anyone eat anything but breakfast food? And after you see Surfers Paradise in the AM, why would you eat arguably the best meal of the day anywhere else?
Here at The Urban List, when it comes to breakfast we have faith in our beloved Surfers. So check out our pick of the best breakfasts in Surfers Paradise and see what you’ve been missing out on!
Elston There’s a good chance you’ve spent a night at which wound up with a hangover so vicious, breakfast was a laughable matter. But we have to say, if you drag yourself out of bed, Elston also has the cure. With a fashionable, rustic interior facing direct beachfront you can enjoy traditional bacon and eggs executed to perfection, along with an assortment of new-world Gold Coast menu items containing words such as ‘smashed avo’, ‘bircher museli’ and ‘nutella pancakes’.
And we know if we didn’t have you at bacon we had you at bircher! Paradox Coffee Roasters What we do know is serves up some of the freshest, richest coffee in Surfers (they roast their own on site), sourced ethically and from some of the most exotic locations in the world, in addition to serving up hearty, seasonal brekkies made with locally sourced ingredients.
A recent addition to the best breakfasts in Surfers Paradise and located inside the unique building, you will feel calm, peaceful and cultured inside Paradox. Have a coffee and a bagel and see if you can help us figure out the Paradox.
Bazaar QT Tackling the buffet breakfast with a sophisticated and unique twist, spectacular is the only word that does ’s buffet any justice. Without question one of the best breakfasts in Surfers Paradise, dig into a mind-boggling choices such as delicate parfaits to fresh tomato juice, a vast antipasto selection, and your favourite eggs cooked to order—all spectacularly presented and laid out with homely yet refined design touches.
Despite the huge range, flavour and quality is definitely not sacrificed. Be warned though, a Bazaar buffet (ahem 'interactive kitchen') will ruin every other buffet for you in life. Sandbar This cafe slash restaurant slash bar hybrid is the rebirth of one of Surfers Paradise’s longest established beachfront watering holes.
They’ve done away with the breakfast buffet and replaced with a stellar breakfast selection of Insta-worthy smoothie and poke bowls and twists on the traditional morning favourites. Injecting some much needed cool back into Surfers Paradise, we love Sandbar’s breezy new fit-out, always-holiday vibes, creative menus to accompany those salty sea vistas.
Bumbles Cafe You know from the name this place is going to be straight-up adorable, and it totally is. The charming house-turned-café is honestly so gorgeous you will audibly gasp when you first walk in, the same way you would if you saw Beyonce in real life.
You will see this place and get upset because a refurbished house is prettier than you— no exaggerations. But despite its obvious beauty, is homely and warm, serving up a menu that makes the simplest thing unbelievably tasty. Or, if you’re feeling daring, you can have what we at Metropolist call a backwards day, where you eat dessert for breakfast and work your way back until you’re having breakfast for dessert.

Surfers Paradise has lots of places for eating out. Some good, some average and some not so good! The good ones get busy at night first, so it is well worth booking ahead, so as not to be disappointed.
I cannot promise a great meal or experience everytime, as there is often quite a bit of change in this part of the Gold Coast. I haven't managed to eat in or write about every restaurant or cafe in Surfers so any additional information is very welcome. However, my selection is to give you some ideas and options that I have found generally reliable and good and I think you might too.
Some of the different faces of Surfers Paradise restaurants, cafes and places to eat. Favourite Surfers Paradise Restaurants, Cafes & Places to Eat Here are a small selection of restaurants in Surfers Paradise area. I have tried to include a few different options to look at. All are ones I have either eaten at, or feel confident that you will get a good meal at. Many of these will require you to make bookings.
If you are after casual dining you can try some of the restaurants along Cavill Mall - unfortunately, many of these I am not so eager to recommend and they are variable in their quality. Another good area for Surfers Paradise restaurants is the Circle on Cavill and Chevron Rennaissance precincts. Let me know what you think of my selections by leaving comments below... - Italian, Seafood and European in Orchid Ave, Surfers Paradise for Lunch and Dinner. Surprisingly good for at certain times...
Four Winds Revolving Restaurant at Crowne Plaza Resort - buffet style eating with a fabulous view of the Gold Coast. I have only been in the evening and the food was excellent with lots of choices and would suit most people. Waves International Buffet at Watermark Hotel - opens for breakfast and dinner, 7 days a week. Various styles including Indian, Asia, Seafood and Mediterranean.
I would have to say you would be hard pushed not to find something you like here. Hard Rock Cafe - on the corner of Cavill Ave and Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Pretty standard Hard Rock Cafe - expect burgers and American style food with lots of movie and music memorabilia.
Noisy, crowded and probably need to book, but sometimes you can just rock up and get a meal. Citrique Restaurant at Marriott Surfers Paradise Hotel and Spa - replaced the Lagoon Restaurant in late 2011. This restaurant overlooks the amazing lagoon pool at the Marriott (it's worth going just to see the pool!). There are both a la carte options and buffet options. One of the differences about this buffet is there are four zones - Cold Zone with surprisingly enough cold foods such as cheeses, sushi, salads, deli meats and local seafood.
Hot Zone with live cooking stations offering European and Asian foods. Grill Zone for roasts and satay style foods. And our favourite... the Decadence Zone with some of the most amazing looking desserts and pastries and icecream bar! Citrique is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - you'll have to check the times with them directly. Misono Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant at Marriott Surfers Paradise Hotel and Spa is popular and gets rave reviews!
If you are after great Japanese, it is definitely worthy of a look. Misono is open every night from 5.30pm for dinner and you definitely NEED to book this one.
Cold Rock Ice Creamery - if you have never been to a Cold Rock.... you haven't lived! Cold Rock are famous for their mix-ins. You choose the ice cream, choose the mix-in and they smash it all together on their cold slab. The combinations are only limited by your imagination and good taste! Cold Rock in Surfers is in Elkhorn Avenue near the corner of Gold Coast Highway.
You can also find Cold Rock's at Helensvale, Palm Beach, Coolangatta, Broadbeach, Varsity Lakes and Burleigh Heads. Black Coffee Lyrics - a great place for a casual meal that's pretty awesome and a great coffee too! Plan Your Holiday Planning A Holiday Should Be FUN!
