By the end of 2012, the tabloids that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s two-year relationship was under significant strain, and that both of them were ready to move on. Perhaps this was helped along by Harvey Weinstein, who pushed Jennifer HARD for her Oscar campaign (and it paid off) and Harvey thought it would be easier to sell Jennifer if she was single, and he even played around with the idea of putting her with Bradley Cooper to keep the publicity machine going.

So, by January of this year Jennifer and Nicholas Hoult . The breakup seemed relatively drama-free, considering their ages – Hoult made a point to talk her up in interviews, and Jennifer never said a bad word against him either.

Maybe they knew the breakup would be temporary considering they would soon be working together on the X-Men sequel. And that’s exactly what’s happened. The sequel to X-Men: First Class has begun and it looks like Hoult and Lawrence are back together. They were photographed together two nights ago as they left a restaurant in Hollywood – .

According to the Mail, they “attempted to avoid being photographed by leaving The Little Door eatery via the rear exit, but were snapped as they got into the actress’ waiting car… Jennifer and Nicholas tried to keep their heads down as they made their way to the vehicle, but appeared in good spirits following the evening together.” Jennifer was also clutching a copy of Anna Karenina.

Which does not bode well for this renewed romance. Anyway, she’s 22 years old and he’s 23 years old. This really doesn’t have to be forever.

But they can be great friends and lovers and play this on-and-off game for a while, and I’ll be fine with it. I think they’re such a cute and lovely couple. I love it when a funny American girl gets with a lanky English boy. It’s like a real-life rom-com. Photos courtesy of WENN. Welllll, compared to others, yes he was the hottest imo. Sid was too weird and passive. Dev Patel got beautiful when he got older, he was akward too on Skins. Chris and Maxxie were the only ones who could compete with Tony’s hotness imo.

It depends on what floats your boat so for me, the more mature ones (Chris had a lot of shit to deal with compared to the others) did it for me.

That’s like saying ‘I’m not racist, I have a black friend!’. Oh please… Sure JLaw talks out of her ass a lot but that’s not a reason to dismiss what she said.

It means it is in her head and she does have a stereotypical view of certain people, whether malicious or not. It’s telling you say SHE’s not homophobic so you know her WORDS are. It’s undefendable really but hey, you can always give it a go and see how it turns out I guess.

She’s just an actress, not exactly an activist so showing up to some events and acting all ‘sheesh, aren’t I goofy and ignorant’ isn’t building a strong case for the things she says in other interviews. Another overhyped blonde generic actress, I’m done with her. I wish I din’t know tbh but I can’t ignore it, now that I do know.

@Marie: people have low standards these days. Even being aware of the impact of her words and maybe think 2sec about what you’re going to say is too much to ask these days. Afwul that people are aware of those homophobic quotes yet shrug it off because they’re convinced she’s just goofy or ignorant (but admitted to reading classic books?). Gosh, they don’t understand she’s just a phony act like the rest of them. Maybe harmless but still phony. Oh for God’s sake. I’m so sick of this world where we all have to be 100% PC 100% of the time.

How boring. Lighten the hell up. Everyone says things on occasion without thinking them through – that doesn’t mean they are racist or homophobic, sexist or any other “-ist”.

It just means they grew up in a culture that is still evolving and changing to be fairer and is by no means perfect, and sometimes those little un-PC sayings sneak in as a result.

That does not mean they are said with hatred, snarkiness or malicious intent. I have loads of gay friends who make much worse comments than this, and laugh loudly when their straight friends say the same.

She’s not perfect, she’s young, she has foot-in-mouth, speak-before-you-think syndrome and she has never been PC. I love it. I prefer this to some over-trained bland person that would never, ever say something they were coached not to.

Re: Jennifer was also clutching a copy of Anna Karenina. Which does not bode well for this renewed romance. I don’t understand the statement. I actually read the novel and there are two central love stories. The secondary love story is about reconsiliation so it would be a good sign. I don’t care for either of them but I love that book!

I think the “does not bode well” comment was meant to be imply: “if she’s bringing a book along on their date, that’s not a good sign”; because if she felt the need to bring a book along on their date then she knows he is not interesting enough to hold her attention the entire time they are out together. I doubt that comment had anything to do with which novel it was. Or at least that’s how I read it. @Karen: Actually, I was thinking the opposite (LOL!)…considering the stress level must have been incredibly high, Lawrence looks great to me.

I do get the feeling that they balance each other out, and that she has missed being with him. Anyway, there’s my 2¢ worth of opinion/speculation for the day (LOL!). Neve really thought they actually broke it off… I think the “break up” was only public facing so, as Kaiser pointed out, Lawrence could focus on winning awards and be positioned as the young fresh single girl.

Plus, he had his two first major movies coming out during that time…. wouldn’t hurt for him to appear single to try to build heartthrob status. I think they were together in the background the whole time. PR or not, I like this couple. Welllll, compared to others, yes he was the hottest imo.
