This is not my idea, I've copied it from someone else (link attached) [INDENT]"As we know, CS:GO runs optimal at 128tick rate. For some reason, Valve have decided to run all of their "Competitive" Matchmaking games on 64tick servers.
The difference between the two tickrates is monumental in correctly registering shots to the hitboxes. I understand the financial implications of converting all the servers to 64tickrate, and have come up with a proposed plan that would work for all. The idea is to take around a third of the servers currently online, and convert them to 128tick.
Then, add another setting for the admin via a tickbox, to enable 128tick queuing. Therefore, those who want to play on 128tick, can queue a bit longer for the chance to play the available servers.

You can play on community 64 tick and the reg will be just perfectly fine, only that the movement feeling will be affected. bad reg in valve's MM server is caused by having multiple game server squeezed into small number of server(maybe through visualization), meaning that 20 Matchmaking server might be running on 1 computer.
the community server on the other hand will just run 64 tick server fine if they only run it in like 4 game server in 1 computer. now that you know valve's MM server is squeezed like that, you want to make each game server calculate twice faster. guess what happened. 1. The number of server will be cut by half = more queue time = 128 tick movement feeling with still bad reg 2. they keep the number of server hosted in 1 computer the same yet make it 128 tick.. oh God.. (128 tick) * 5 servers per dedicated is way better than (64 tick) * 10 sw per dedicated so no, it will not haver bad reg, queue times will not suffer as much since every second we speak there hundreds of servers unused, if you add all mm servers you play to favorites, you can track how little portion of servers are actually used.
i´m happy that at least a few people realize the core of the problem. for me all this threads and the online petition is the perfect example how stupid the cs communiy really is.
one idiot screams 128tick and everybody is jelling with them :) but i really hope that valve starts to balance their systems in order to get more performance. still he is right,u pay for the game when u buy it and its valves business to make the game experience optimal,dont fool yourself and dont pay them more. If game was f2p,then i would not care about "premium" usage ,but for me it seems retarted to pay for the game,and then pay subscription so u can play the game optimal,maybe valve can make an automated system where it will check your system,and decide if you need to play on 128 or 64.

You also have no idea about the research he may or have may not done... p.s the english on this board is attrocious. Valve knows the difference between 64 and 128. It's all down to money. Even a big company don't have infinite monnies and the 128 servers are more expensive.
A better petition would be: 'Pls valve make a 128 tick server MM coin like bravo etc with a fee every month, so those who wants to play on 128 tick can pay a small amout that will help host the more expensive 128tick server's ' They could give cooldowns to players who provide a server that shuts down during the match. If the server has contact to valve servers, that ensures that the right config is on at all times.
Either way I'd be happy with it, I don't think I'm the only one who would make my server available every time, and wouldn't fuck with it. We want 128 tickrate for matchmaking! We payed money for this game to play it on real servers you call this competitive play? Play competitive on 64 tickrate on tournaments too then!If you would do that CSGO would fall apart, massive rage everywhere, pro players would cry.
Now only normal players cry, but you VALVE don't give a shit about normal players. Who already payed money for game, as soon as they payed money those players are dead for Valve.
