By the way, Vinegar Syndrome did a beautiful job restoring this, but why is the first ten or so minutes updated with shitty commercial electronic music? Director Chris Warfield basically treats the engrossingly seamy story as a claustrophobic chamber piece rife with mounting tension, abundant nudity, sizzling soft-core sex, and a suffocating hothouse atmosphere. It makes you think - who's to blame here?
