Mira was born in a warrior-family in Kerala, India, was well versed in martial arts and self-defense, so much so that she was recruited by the Spanish royalty and re-located to Constantinople. From there she was instructed to assist Roman Commander Aurelius to plan the escape of 12-year old Romulus Augustus Caesar from a prison in Capri after his parents had been killed by the leader of the Alliance in turmoil-stricken Rome that has seen the deaths of five emperors in five years. Logan, whose power to self-heal is dwindling, has surrendered himself to alcohol and now earns a living as a chauffeur. A decrepit Logan is forced to ask himself if he can or even wants to put his remaining powers to good use. They are ageing, ailing and struggling to survive financially. The wolverine clone starts to throw Logan around like a rag doll. Faced with treason Romulus and his allies must set off in search of the one legion in the Empire that is still loyal to him.
Mira, Aurelius, and a Priest, Ambrosinius, along with a handful of loyal soldiers were successful in the escape plan and deliver Romulus to Roman Senator Nestor. The kids bury the Wolverine, Laura recites a passage from Shane, she puts the grave cross as an X and the kids walk north. The kids join together and manage to kill Pierce. Logan finds peace as he dies seeing Laura safe. At first he refuses, but the Professor has been waiting for a long time for her to appear. In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border.
Logan is impaled and as the clone moves in to kill him, Laura shoots it in the head with the adamantium bullet. On the eve of the coronation of 12-year-old Romulus Augustus, barbarian general Odoacer arrives in Rome to make demands in exchange for his years supporting the Roman legions in the east, but when he is refused, the barbarian army storms the city. Logan weakens, the serum is only temporary, the clone version arrives. . One day, a female stranger asks Logan to drive a girl named Laura to the Canadian border.
A relentless pursuit begins — In this third cinematic outing featuring the Marvel comic book character Wolverine we see the superheroes beset by everyday problems. Logan rushes in with renewed energy and kills many men, Laura helping. The kids are being caught by armed men, their powers too weak to resist. Rice confronts Logan, who pulls out a gun and shoots the mad doctor. He takes care of the ailing old Professor X whom he keeps hidden away. It would appear that in the near-future, the times in which they were able put the world to rights with razor sharp claws and telepathic powers are now over.
Laura possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess and is in many ways like Wolverine. . . . .
